Talk together

  • What does your partner need the ball to do?
  • How could you help?
  • What did the test show?

Get ready

  • Partner, low ramp, soft ball, cardboard bumper, large target hoop made from tape.

Safety

  • Roll a soft ball on a clear floor away from stairs, doors and people; never throw it. Short strings stay on the table, never around a body.
  • Only a grown-up uses scissors or cuts cardboard. Keep small pieces out of mouths; use large cards.

How to help

Let your child listen, look and try before you explain. Point to the next picture if needed. Accept drawing, pointing or a voice response; writing is optional. Save the child’s own work with a date.
